About us

A quiet, steady place for women.

Women's Workshop Amble is a not-for-profit organisation supporting women across rural Northumberland — through wellbeing, education, practical support and genuine community.

Our story

We began with a simple idea: women in rural communities deserve spaces that feel warm, private and full of possibility. From that grew a small workshop, then a circle, then a network of women, professionals and volunteers looking out for each other.

Today, we run wellbeing groups, one-to-one support, workshops and community activities across Amble and the surrounding villages — all designed with care and shaped by the women who take part.

Mission

To support every woman's wellbeing, confidence and possibility.

Vision

Rural communities where women feel seen, safe and strong.

Values

Warmth. Inclusion. Dignity. Hope. Trust.

Rooted in rural Northumberland

Rural life can be beautiful — and quietly isolating. Distances are longer, services are further, and asking for help can feel harder. We're here to close that gap with warmth, patience and practical care.
